Out of the 815 Eldorado Biarritz produced, five were pulled out of the production line and modified to this fascinating “Raindrop” modification. These five cars were given an electric sensor that would spring the convertible top into action as soon as it sensed a drop of rain; similar to the automatic windshield wipers we see on some current models today. To continue protecting the passengers inside from the wet elements, the windows would also conveniently roll up automatically assuring a dry and comfortable ride for all the passengers.
